Who We Are?
‘KARUNA’ is a School for Special Needs opened by Mrs. Ruth Olive and Mr. Vijay Jeevaraj. The couple is passionate about equipping children with special needs for a bright future by providing them with the best education and an ideal learning space with quality tools, teachers, and resources. The founders of KARUNA have been in the education industry for over a decade and are owners of Mount Carmel School (a reputed leading school in Kondapur, Hyderabad, India).
This was when the couple thought it was time to launch a proper School designed exclusively to cater to the learning and developmental needs of children with special needs so that they, too, can live a fulfilling life and embrace the world in which they live.
Abroad Action
Their vision extends beyond the ordinary recognizing the diverse needs of students with conditions such as ASD, ADHD, ASPERGERS and dyslexia. Their passion let them to embark on a journey to study and research abroad, explaining their practices inspiring education.
They believe that every child, regardless of their learning needs, deserved the chance to shine and achieve their dreams.

Our Multidimensional Model
Children with special needs require special attention and care that doesn’t fit into the framework of traditional schools. This is why we have created a multidimensional model that looks at children with learning disabilities through multiple lenses. Our assessment driven approach allows us to comprehensively assess every student after enrollment, which, in turn, helps us combine unique techniques that support their learning journey, growth patterns, personal development and build their self-esteem. These qualities help students go on to achieve success in higher education settings and realize their professional ambitions.
